Our Commitment to Society and the Environment
Based on our corporate values, we take responsibility for our clients’ assets, for our employees and, through our corporate social engagement, also beyond our core business activities. For us, engagement is an investment in the future. Therefore, we support selected social and environmental projects and organisations whose work is aligned with our corporate values.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) form the basis of our commitment. These 17 goals were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda and serve as a global framework for sustainable development until 2030.
Through FERI4Education, we focus one key area of our corporate social engagement on education in line with SDG 4. To this end, we support selected educational projects and initiatives that aim to strengthen knowledge, individual development and social participation.
In addition, we focus our engagement on SDGs 5, 7, 8 and 13, in whose areas we undertake specific activities as a company. Through FERIhilft (FERIhelps), we also support additional selected non-profit projects and organisations.
As part of our corporate social engagement, we align our activities with selected United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our areas of focus are education, gender equality and diversity, energy, the world of work and climate action. Under “Our Commitment at a Glance”, we provide information on the projects, partnerships and events supported by FERI.
