FERI starts the new year partnering with Werte-Stiftung: working together for democratic values
With the beginning of the new year we enter into a strategic partnership with the Werte-Stiftung to jointly contribute to strengthening liberal democratic values in education and society. Our commitment includes financial support as well as active involvement in new projects, particularly in the educational sector. Together, we seek to develop formats that address democratic awareness and social responsibility and are intended to provide young people with inspiration for responsible action.
A key focus of the collaboration is the further development of the school project “Werte (er)leben” (Experience Values), which conveys fundamental democratic principles to students in a practical and engaging way. In addition, we contribute to initiatives that promote value-based innovations, including the “Hand-in-Hand @Start-up Land” agenda.
The partnership complements our existing cooperation with Futury, a former subsidiary of Werte-Stiftung. Futury is committed to value-based innovation and the establishment of a start-up factory in the Rhine-Main area. Through this connection, a network is being created that is intended to bring together future-oriented topics, innovative strength and social engagement.
For us, this cooperation represents another building block of our responsibility towards society and education. It builds on our broad commitment through FERI4Education. Through this initiative, we support educational programmes and projects related to sustainable development at local schools and universities, including formats that address democracy education. Through our cooperation with Werte-Stiftung, we aim to further expand this commitment and create even more targeted opportunities that enable young people to engage with democratic values and are intended to provide impulses for civic participation.
