FERI4Education: FERI supports educational project for children and young people in Senegal
Children are our future and deserve the best possible education. Through our educational support programme FERI4Education, we therefore support selected educational projects that aim to improve access to education for children and young people.
One organisation that particularly impressed us in this context is the Elhadj Diouf Foundation (EDF). We first learned about its work from presenter and “the voice of German tennis”, Matthias Stach, during the Bad Homburg Open 2024.
The EDF was founded by Senegalese football player Elhadj Diouf and is particularly active in the fields of education and sustainable development in Senegal. Among other initiatives, the foundation supports the construction of schools - most recently the École Elhadj Mamadou Diouf in Kaolack, whose operations we support through our donation.
