Enactus Pre-Presentations 2026 at FERI: Entrepreneurial Ideas with Societal Value
How can entrepreneurial thinking and societal value be combined? The Enactus Pre-Presentations of the South-West region, which we were pleased to host in Bad Homburg this year, provided impressive answers to this question.
Innovative Approaches to Social Challenges
As part of the Pre-Presentations, the participating Enactus teams presented their projects for the upcoming Enactus Germany National Cup. All of them demonstrated how entrepreneurial action can help address current social and environmental challenges.

The projects covered a wide range of topics, from producing sustainable fuels from plastic waste and strengthening food security in Namibia to approaches aimed at reducing food waste, innovative insurance solutions for crisis situations, and AI-supported concepts for urban greening and climate protection projects. What they all have in common is a shared goal: to develop long-term and scalable approaches to real-world challenges and, in doing so, contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Education, Entrepreneurship, and Societal Value
The combination of education, entrepreneurial thinking, and the creation of societal value has always been at the heart of the Enactus network. This is precisely why we are committed to our partnership with Enactus Germany. At FERI, we believe that education is a key driver of equal opportunities and social participation. At the same time, we are convinced that economic success and social responsibility go hand in hand.

The projects developed by the students demonstrate how this conviction can be translated into concrete ideas and initiatives. Particularly impressive is the level of commitment with which the students advance their projects alongside their academic studies. Through creativity, initiative, and entrepreneurial thinking, they develop practical approaches to social and environmental challenges.
Engagement Beyond Individual Projects
The societal significance of the Enactus network is also reflected in the projects and activities initiated around the world. According to Enactus, these activities have reached large numbers of people across various areas and have contributed to resource conservation, waste reduction, and emissions reduction.

The Enactus motto #WeAllWin captures this approach: the goal is to develop solutions that take equal account of people, the environment, and the economy.
We would like to thank Enactus Germany for their trust and our long-standing partnership. We would also like to thank all participating teams, alumni, advisors, partners, and the many colleagues at FERI who contributed to the success of the event.
