Fund Women @FERI: Girl power and pure inspiration

In June, the international tennis world once again gathered at the Bad Homburg Open. And for the fourth time, the official draw ceremony took place at FERI in the Haus am Park. This year, there was a very special pre-event: together with Fondsfrauen, we invited guests to a get-together with our brand ambassador Andrea Petkovic. 

After a welcome by FERI board members Marcel Renné and Marcel Lähn, an interactive talk between Andrea Petkovic, Anne Conelly (Fondsfrauen), Nicole Grützmacher, and Britta Süssman (both FERI) focused on the following topics:

• The impressive career of the top athlete
• The importance of having the courage to change and dealing with pressure and setbacks
• The fact that resilience and mental strength are just as crucial as regular training
• The importance of dealing with your own finances at an early stage
• And how crucial positive role models are in both sport and work in order to inspire and encourage young girls and women.

And this is precisely where Fondsfrauen is sending a strong signal with its commitment in an industry that is still male-dominated: with competence, self-confidence, and the courage to become visible. An initiative that we as a company are very happy to support!
