Swiss location Zurich: FERI expands management team with Philipp Bolliger
The FERI Group has appointed a new managing director for its Swiss subsidiary, FERI (Switzerland) AG: Philipp Bolliger will take over the portfolio management division within the executive board with effect from September 1.
Silvio Jagunic, Managing Director for Private Clients and Finance/Human Resources at FERI (Switzerland) AG: "Philipp Bolliger has shown strong development at FERI over the past eight years and successfully manages his funds and strategies. For us, Philipp's appointment to the Executive Board is a logical and forward-looking step. We promote talent and think long term. Stability is a factor that delivers added value both in capital investment and in cross-generational structures."
Philipp Bolliger, 34, joined FERI (Switzerland) AG in Zurich on December 1, 2017, most recently as Director of Portfolio Management and member of the Executive Committee. His main responsibilities include managing the FS Exponential Funds and other investment solutions in the field of exponential technologies. Sandro Baumann will now assume primary responsibility for the Exponential Strategies & Special Investment Solutions division. The current Deputy Head of Exponential Strategies & Special Investment Solutions has been with FERI (Switzerland) AG since January 1, 2020. In his new position, Baumann will report to Philipp Bolliger and support him in the further development of innovative investment strategies.
Prior to joining multi-asset manager FERI, headquartered in Bad Homburg, Germany, Bolliger gained extensive experience in the financial sector. He worked at Deutsche Börse AG in Zurich from 2012 to 2017 as Market Manager Eurex Repo and Product Development. Prior to that, he worked at Credit Suisse in Zurich, where he gained valuable insights into banking operations as Relationship Manager Staff Clients from 2010 to 2012 and from 2007 to 2010 after completing his training as a banker.
Philipp Bolliger, who studied banking and finance at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, also teaches economics part-time at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (Germany).
