FERI AG has appointed Andreas Schölzel to the Executive Board, effective July 1, 2026: In his role as Executive Managing Director, Institutional Clients, he will be responsible for all of the asset manager’s advisory and sales activities in the institutional business and will report directly to the CIO and CEO-designate, Dr. Marcel V. Lähn. His appointment is part of a strategic initiative through which FERI is integrating advisory and sales functions in the institutional sector even more closely and placing them under unified leadership.
Schölzel has more than two decades of experience in the financial industry. After completing his studies at the University of Maryland, where he majored in Finance and Decision & Information Technologies, he held senior positions at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, among other companies. His professional focus is on equity derivatives and convertible bonds, as well as customized investment strategies—including in the alternative investment sector—for institutional investors throughout the DACH region.
“Today, institutional investors face increasingly complex challenges—from regulatory requirements and asset-liability management to the selection of suitable investment mandates in traditional and alternative asset classes,” says Andreas Schölzel. “The key to long-term client relationships is listening carefully. We analyze our clients’ challenges and structure them to derive viable investment solutions. In doing so, we can tailor FERI’s full range of expertise to each client’s needs—from research and consulting to asset management,” says Schölzel, underscoring his commitment to and understanding of holistic advisory services.
