National Reading Day: “Grab a story, read it aloud, inspire children”

The rapt attention and the sparkle in the children's eyes when they are read to is simply priceless and a wonderful experience! We are therefore all the more delighted to be taking part in this year's nationwide reading day and at the same time actively supporting the Hochtaunus Child Protection Association here in Bad Homburg.

Reading (aloud) is so incredibly important for language development! And language, in turn, is the key to social participation. Unfortunately, for many children today, this is not a given. This year's Reading Day is themed around the important social motto “Unique Together.” 

We are particularly proud of our colleagues at FERI. Thanks to the high level of commitment shown by FERI employees, there will be a follow-up event in December, and we are already working on establishing this as a regular event in collaboration with the Hochtaunus Child Protection Association.
