FERI at the Enactus Germany National Cup 2024

450 participants, two days packed with sustainable projects from incredibly committed young people - that was the Enactus Germany National Cup 2024. And we were there in person!

What connects FERI with Enactus?

Enactus was founded in the USA almost 50 years ago with the aim of inspiring students to make the world a better place through entrepreneurial action. Together with partners from business and science, Enactus supports students from all disciplines worldwide in developing innovative, sustainable business models and thus jointly contributing to the realization of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. A perfect fit for us, because we also see great potential in getting young people excited about the SDGs and achieving them. That is why we have been supporting Enactus Germany as a partner since the end of 2023. 

#WeAllWin - Commitment to a sustainable world

As part of our cooperation, we took part in the National Cup. There, the German project teams pitched in front of a jury, which this year included our CIO and CEO Dr. Marcel V. Laehn, for a place in the World Cup in Kazakhstan. It was overwhelming to see how many young people are already working with great commitment on the topic of social entrepreneurship alongside their studies and the variety of different project ideas that are being developed and successfully implemented.

The professionalism of the presentations was outstanding and the enthusiasm for each project was palpable. In fact, they all deserved a prize. But in the end, only one team can represent Enactus Germany at the World Cup. And in the end, it's not the victory of a single team that counts, but the collective impact - 30 teams in Germany and 1700 worldwide have an incredible effect. True to the Enactus motto WeAllWin. Congratulations to the National Champion Team Enactus Karlsruhe e.V., which successfully combats youth unemployment in Bosnia with the DeBaCode project.
